It will make you happy if you really
serve the Lord Jesus. The more faithful you are in
showing love to others and in obeying the Lord in
all things, the more your life will be full of joy.
Christ said in John 15:11
“These things have I spoken unto you that MY
JOY might remain in you, and that YOUR JOY MIGHT BE
FULL.”
Memorize the verse.
I would encourage you to especially
study chapters 14, 15,16 and 17 in the Gospel of John.
These are Christ’s intimate words spoken to
His own between being in the upper room with Hi disciples
and going to the mock trial and to the cross only
hours later. These were the special last words of
Christ’s to the apostles or disciples prior
to His death. They are like last words we might speak
to our loved ones knowing that soon we will be leaving
this earth.
Consider that Christ left a legacy
for them and for us.
Study these precious truths! Claim them as yours!

a place for us in John 14:1-6
2. He promises that we will do even
greater works than He did. (John 14:12)
3. He promises that we can claim
answers to prayer as we pray in His Name.
(See John 14:13,14 and 16:23-24)
4. He promises that we will have
the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, who abides in us.
He prays that the Father will send the Comforter to
us, and to lead us into all the truth. (See John 14:16-18,
26; and 16:7-14)
5. He promises us His peace. (John
14:27)
6. He promises that we can abide
in Him, be fruitful, and have answers to prayer. (John
15:1-8)

(John 15:11)

midst of tests and trials. (John 16:33)
