LESSON 8

The Lord Jesus can meet your every need!

Water is necessary for life. We would not be alive long without water. Christ is the only Savior and without Him we are spiritually thirsty. Only He can meet the need of the heart. Day by day He desires to quench our spiritual thirst and spiritual hunger.

8. The story in the Gospel of John, chapter 6, tells us of Christ feeding the 5,000. They did not understand the spiritual significance of the miracle. Christ tells us that HE IS THE __________________________ in John 6:35, As the Living Bread He meets pour needs! If we trust Him, we will never__________ or never _______________.

9. Again in John 6:51, Christ said He is the __________________came down from heaven.

As bread is universal food so Christ is the Savior for all mankind. (I John 2:1-2) Every nation has its bread. Christ came and died for our sins and is the only Savior. He is able to save anyone in the world who will come to HIM for salvation.

10. You will want to read the story of Lazarus, Martha and Mary in John 11. Here we read of their brother’s death. Out of all that took place we are told by Christ that He is the __________________________________ and the life. ( John 11:25-26)

Write the John 11:25-26 in the space below:

_______________________________________________________________

_______________________________________________________________

11. In John 15:1-8 we read another interesting portion where Christ tells us that He is the __________. When we look at a vine we can say that just as the branch gets its life from the vine, so we get our daily spiritual life from Christ who is the __________. All spiritual life and ability to serve Him must come from our Savior who is the vine.
And we must abide in Him!

MEMORIZE JOHN 1:1-2
